Website Design Agreement Terms
This agreement outlines the general terms for website design services provided by MAJIRS! Advertising and Design.
FAQ
This FAQ page is designed to answer common questions about the website design process, payment terms, ownership, access, and additional services so clients clearly understand what to expect before moving forward.
Payment Terms
A down payment of 50% is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due in full upon website completion and prior to or at launch.
Once the website is live, the client will have a 5-day grace period to review the site and request final adjustments within the approved project scope. If payment is not received after the grace period, MAJIRS! Advertising and Design reserves the right to unpublish the website until payment is made in full.
Any work requested outside the approved scope will be billed at $115 per hour, unless included in a separate written agreement or monthly retainer.
Website Platform
The website will be built on the Wix platform and must remain hosted on Wix. After completion, the client may manage the website independently or hire another Wix professional at any time.
Ownership and Access
The website will initially be built under the MAJIRS! Wix account. Once the website is completed and paid in full, the client can receive access to the website and be added as a collaborator. The client will need to create a free Wix account to log in and access the site. MAJIRS! will retain access for billing, technical support, future updates, and ongoing service unless otherwise requested in writing.
If the client wishes to manage the website independently, MAJIRS! can transfer it to the client’s Wix account. After the transfer is complete, the client will be responsible for all Wix account management, billing, renewals, website access, and ongoing platform-related responsibilities.
Domain Name
The domain name should be registered under the client’s business name as the legal owner/registrant.
If the domain is currently registered elsewhere, MAJIRS! recommends transferring the domain to Wix so website hosting and domain renewal are managed in one place.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics setup is included as guidance only. Once the client is added as a website collaborator, MAJIRS! can guide the client through connecting Google Analytics to the website.
Google Business Profile
A Google Business Profile is not included in the website estimate. The client may create one for free through Google and complete the required verification process.
Once the profile is created, the client may add MAJIRS! as an administrator if assistance is needed.
CRM, Scheduling, Invoicing, and Estimates
A full Customer Relationship Management system, job scheduling, route scheduling, customer tracking, and advanced CRM functionality are not included in the website estimate.
Additional discussion and pricing may be required to determine whether Wix tools or a third-party system would best meet the client’s needs.
Wix may offer invoicing, estimates, online payment processing, and payment tracking. Any Wix Payments processing, transaction, refund, or chargeback fees are the client's responsibility.
Ongoing Updates and Maintenance
After the 5-day post-launch review period, any additional website updates, revisions, maintenance, or marketing support will be billed at the standard hourly rate unless covered by a separate agreement or monthly retainer.
Additional Services
Graphic design, print design, EDDM services, marketing materials, social media graphics, email marketing graphics, and other services are not included unless specifically stated in the approved estimate.

Agreement
By approving the website estimate and submitting the required down payment, the client agrees to the terms outlined above.
